Larry Cook Engineering has added custom exhaust systems to fit the United Motors and Hyosung 650 Fuel Injected models.

The systems resemble our carburator models but are about three (3) inches longer to accomodiate the oxygen sensor from the fuel injectors.

No modifications to the injectors are needed to pull more performance using our tuned exhaust system. You just unscrew the sensor from the factory system and screw in into our exhaust system.

The factory fuel injection system, when coupled to our exhaust system, will out perform our older jet kit modified pipes. That's just how fuel injection works and LCcycle has already tuned the pipes for best performance.

650 Hyosung noise reduction exhaust system

Larry Cook Engineering now offers many of our exhaust systems in two types, our popular standard models with big bike styling and "loud" sound, and our "More Quiet" models that reduce sound pressure levels by six decibels.

At a distance of 25 feet the More Quiet system emits only 78 decibels at idle. At one meter it emits 86 dB. Our standard system emits 94 dB at idle, one meter.

The reduction in noise level with our More Quiet system slightly reduces the horsepower gain from our unrestricted system but it still performs better than the factory exhaust.

We believe this is the compromise of noise vs. performance you've been looking for.
