Honestly, we didn't want to tell you that fast-high powered motorcycles generate enough exhaust heat that they can (and often do) turn chrome into a discolored state near the exhaust port and ours is no exception. If you opt for the chrome model it may discolor around the header. This is not a warranty consideration. If you want it to look perfect don't buy chrome. But also don't panic! You can improve chrome discoloration with BlueAway Cleaner and SimiChrome Polish. LCcycle.com recommends this product but we do not sell it.

We also offer two very good performance options: black and silver. Black and silver refer to the ceramic header option. Note that on all of our exhaust pipes the mufflers are always chrome but your header option is either chrome, ceramic black or ceramic silver. Cermanic can scratch but it doesn't discolor like chrome.
